The starting point
Four SaaS subscriptions, three vendor contracts, and a fourth on the way. The IT lead estimated 9 percent of operating budget went to per-seat licensing on tools that did not talk to each other.
What we did
Stood up Nextcloud on the existing on-prem hardware, installed OpenRegister, OpenCatalogi, OpenConnector, DocuDesk, and MyDash from the app store. Migrated the data with two OpenConnector flows. Trained the team in two half-day sessions.
